Faith Community Wesleyan Church
Faith Community Wesleyan Church has been at its present location for more than two decades.
To be a Bible based, Jesus centered Church.
Our Church believes that when we lift Jesus up, He will draw all people to Himself. We preach for Christ and base our teaching on the inspired Word of God.
To offer a safe place of fellowship and worship for all.
We endeavour to create an atmosphere where people can worship God and feel safe in a caring community.
To reach out to our community and our world with love, relevance and integrity.
We support missions and ministries locally, nationally and internationally. We encourage those who attend to live out their faith through acts of compassion and generosity.
“…encouraged in heart and united in love.” Colossians 2:2
A Message From Pastor Carl
As Pastor of Faith Community Wesleyan Church, I want to thank you for visiting our website. FCWC has served God and the community in its present location for over 25 years. I have been pastor since June 2000.
Our vision and purpose can be summed up in the following two commitments.
To Lift Jesus Up
Jesus said that if He is lifted up He will draw all people to himself. We have made this our primary purpose and commitment. As we lift Jesus up, we put Him first, proclaiming His love, grace and mercy for all.
To Provide a Safe Place for ALL
We are committed to offering a safe place for all people; not just those who agree with us. We strive to do this by promoting what we are for. We know that not all people will agree with our spiritual and world view, but, even if we differ on something, there is room for love, grace, mercy and a welcome for all.
If I can be of any service to you, please contact me.
WHO ARE THE WESLEYANS?
The Wesleyan Church is a Protestant church in the evangelical, holiness tradition. Wesleyans believe in one God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of all who put their faith in Him alone for eternal life. We believe that those who are made new in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct, and can only live this way by being filled with the Lord’s Spirit.
We believe in the Bible and turn to it to establish our faith and conduct. We believe God wills for people everywhere to know Him and be made new in Christ. We believe that the purpose of the Church is to worship God in spirit and in truth, and to reach a lost and fallen world with the gospel of Jesus Christ through its worship, witness, and loving deeds.

Jesus said, “Go into all the world, and make disciples”. We can’t all pick up and move around the world, but we can all be involved in the spreading of the gospel around the world. Long term missionaries on the frontiers around the world need our help to make their mission successful as they obey the call. We support six missionaries across the world.
We also support local community ministries including Youth For Christ, the Spiritual Care Program at our community hospital and a Girls Home in Belleville, Ontario. Our church went on a mission trip in 2014 to Guyana and is in the planning stages for a future mission trip.
Help Support Our Missionaries
We’re supporting mission both at home and around the globe. Please consider supporting some of our adopted missionaries through finances and prayer, or getting involved in our short-term missions projects.
